The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016

The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 seeks to take care of persecuted minorities on humanitarian grounds and to prevent harassment of the people termed as illegal migrants. This is a pathbreaking bill that would ensure adequate protection of people facing religious persecution and coming to India before 31st December,2014.
