Asylum Management in India

Recently, the leader of Balochistan, Brahamdagh Bugti has made a request for asylum in India which has initiated a debate on asylum management in the country.

The asylum management in India is considered weak in the background of non uniform and unstructured asylum system. As the request for asylum has a foreign policy implication, numerous legal issues regarding domestic and international asylum law deserves consideration.
